We are currently sourcing experienced Production Supervisor's to lead operational crews at Dawson Mine. We are looking for committed and professional Leaders who want to make a difference. As a leader at Dawson Mines, you will bring strong leadership that embeds the values of accountability and delivery of results

The Production Supervisor effectively plans, monitors and coordinates an operational crew and associated resources to ensure that overburden stripping and coal mining activities are undertaken in a safe, cost effective and efficient manner in line with agreed operational standards and targets.  They ensure our mining activities are delivered within all operational management standards, systems and procedures. This requires a constant focus on providing the business context and understanding to the team, providing technical support to the team, and on developing the capability of the operational teams to provide reliable and sustainable operational results.

Production Supervisors facilitate effective working relationships with operational, technical and maintenance key stakeholders. In this way, they maintain a continuous improvement focus and achieve "best for business" results. An effective Production Supervisor must have a strong understanding of open cut mining equipment, mining techniques, the open cut mining environment and statutory requirements. An OCE ticket is advantageous but not essential. We welcome applications from skilled people within various commodities and resources with excellent leadership skills.
