Mining Engineer - Short-Term Scheduler – Dawson

As a member of the Technical Services team, you will continuously improve the quality of mine plans and design methods, ensuring plans, schedules and forecasts are communicated and targets are met. Your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Produce and maintain the weekly/monthly mining schedule from the business plan
• Develop, present and implement short term mining schedules
• Quality Control of mine design processes and plans
• Technical analysis of all productivity data
• Undertake sensitivity analysis of various mining variables to determine high risk areas
• Control and coordinate key communication processes between operations, management and technical services

To be successful in this role, you will have Tertiary qualifications in Mining Engineering and experience using mining software, preferably Xpac, Xact and Minex. Your excellent reporting capability, analytical focus and strong communication skills will see you adding value to our technically and geographically challenging site.
